Yes, the lid is made with BPA-free plastic.
How tall are the bottles?
The 16oz bottle is 198mm tall without the lid. With the lid it is 227mm.
The 12oz bottle is 158mm tall without the lid. With the lid it is 190mm.
What type of material is the bottle made of?
The lid of the bottle is made with BPA-free plastic. The body of the bottle is made of 18/8 food grade stainless steel.
Cleaning
Does the rubber gasket (o-ring) on the lid need to be taken off for cleaning? if so, does it slip into place easily?
The gasket is not designed to be removed, and does not need to be taken off for cleaning.
Is it easy to clean?
Wash before initial use. After each use, wash all parts in warm, soapy water. Use only mild dish soap to clean—no bleach. Dry bottle completely before storing, and store with cap removed. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Is it dishwasher safe?
The product is dishwasher safe, however hand-washing is recommended to maintain the best finish on your bottle.
Usage
Can I drink without removing the lid?
You do not need to take the whole lid off to drink. The bottle is designed to drink out of the smaller spout on the cap. This design helps to prevent heat loss.
Can you use hot liquids?
This bottle is designed for hot liquids. It will bring hot liquids to the perfect drinking temperature in minutes and keep it there for hours. Be careful when using the bottle with hot beverages as contents are still hot.
Can you use cold liquids?
The bottle is optimized for hot liquids, but it can still be used with cold beverages as well. It will perform similar to a regular Stainless steel insulated water bottle when used with cold liquids.
Does the bottle need to be filled to the Max Fill line for good performance?
The bottle performs best when filled to the "Max Fill" line with your hot beverage of choice, but it is not required that you fill to this line for your bottle to work.
Does this product also work on other types of beverages?
Yes, you can put any type of beverage in the bottle. Because the bottle is constructed of 18/8 food safe stainless steel, there is no issue when drinking various beverages from it. DO NOT use container for storage of food and perishables. Contents should not be left in container for longer than 24 hours. However, the rate at which contents spoil depends on several factors. Certain contents that include dairy or tomato may start to spoil sooner, for example.
Can I use dry ice in these bottles?
No, the bottle is not safe for use with dry ice.
Is this compatible with Ninja Coffee machines?
You can use both bottles with your Ninja Coffee machine. You can dispense up to 12oz from your machine in the 12oz bottle, and up to 16oz from your machine in the 16oz bottle.
How do you make the perfect drink with this bottle?
It's as easy as taking the lid off, placing the bottle underneath your Ninja Thirsti machine, and dispensing 6, 12, 18 or 24oz of your preferred drink directly into the bottle.
Can I use this bottle for alcohol?
Yes, because the bottle is constructed of 18/8 food safe stainless steel, there is no issue when drinking alcohol from it.
My bottle will not open, what should I do?
If your bottle is stuck closed, please do not try to open it and contact customer service.

Is this compatible with Thirsti? What size drinks can I dispense using the Thirsti drinkware?
You can use both bottles with your Ninja Thirsti. However, you can dispense up to 6oz, 12oz, 18oz in your 18oz bottle. If you would like to dispense 24 oz, you will need to purchase the 24oz bottle.
Is it better to use the Thirsti bottle with the Thirsti machine over other bottles?

The bottles are car cupholder compatible. To know for sure, it is best to measure your cupholder. The 16oz and 12oz bottles base diameter is 3 inches.
Do these bottles work with brands other than Ninja?
Yes, the bottle should be your go-to bottle for any hot beverage! The 24 oz bottle should fit under anything that is higher than 198mm tall. The 12 oz bottle should fit under anything that is higher than 158 mm tall.
Is there a warranty on the bottles?
