Getting to Know Your Firepit
How to: Install your Propane Tank
To to install your 20lb propane tank in your Fireside 360, simply follow the steps below: 1. Open the rear door. Loosen tank clamp 2. Place LP gas tank cylinder into opening slot area 3. Rotate cylinder into position so the valve opening faces you. 4. Hand-tighten tank clamp. DO NOT use any tools. 5. Hand-tighten tank regulator connector to tank valve, turning clockwise to a complete stop. 6. Slowly open tank valve counterclockwise fully. 7. Complete gas leak check
Does the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ require assembly?
No, The Ninja™ Fireside 360™ comes assembled, however, you will need to supply and install your own 20lb propane tank, install the included AAA battery, as well as place the included ceramic rocks on top of the unit to complete your set up.
Does the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ require a battery?
Yes. To operate your Ninja™ Fireside 360™, a AAA battery (included with your documentation) must be installed.
Where can I find the battery and collateral materials in the box?
The battery and collateral materials are packed together in a bag placed on top of the product, aligned with the “This Side Up” arrow on the box. To ensure easy access, please open the box with the correct side facing up. If the box is opened upside down, the bag may shift to the bottom, making it harder to locate. Can’t find your battery? Be sure to check inside the collateral bag, the battery is often tucked in there for safekeeping.
What is the difference between the Flame and Heater functions?
"The Ninja™ Fireside 360™ features two independent dials—one for Flame and one for Heater—giving you complete control over your experience: The Flame function creates a smokeless, spark-free flame for ambiance. It can be adjusted from a soft glow to full flames. The Heater function activates the 360-degree head-to-toe heating element, providing powerful warmth without the mess of embers or ashes. What are the dimensions of the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
The Ninja™ Fireside 360™ measures 21.8 inches wide and 28.8 inches high, making it a compact yet impactful addition to any outdoor space
Can I use the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ with a fuel source other than propane?
No. The Ninja™ Fireside 360™ was designed and tested only with a 20lb liquid propane tank. Do not use any other fuel source.
My fire pit is discolored or looks used
Discoloration on the flame burner bowl and emitter is completely normal and expected as your FireSide fire pit is used over time. When you initially remove your unit from the box, you may notice some discoloration—this is due to each fire pit being tested for quality assurance before shipping. As you continue to use your fire pit, gold and blue hues may naturally develop on the emitter as the stainless steel reacts to high heat. This patina is purely cosmetic and does not affect the performance or safety of your fire pit in any way.
Using Your Firepit
How much propane does the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ use?
Propane consumption will vary based on the settings that are used on the Ninja™ Fireside 360™. Please make sure to reference the life chart in your instruction booklet or on the sticker located on the inside of the door for ideal performance expectations.
How do I move the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
If you have not used your Ninja™ Fireside 360™ and it is cool to the touch, you can carry it with the emitter guard/cage to your desired location. If you just finished using the unit it is turned off completely, please allow at least 45 minutes for it to cool down before attempting to move it. To make it more portable, it is recommended to remove the propane tank.
How long does the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ take to cool down?
After use and turning off the unit, the top of the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ and the ceramic rocks will remain hot for a period of time. Surfaces may be hot even if they appear cool or have no visible signs of heat (red or orange glow). Please allow at least 45 minutes before touching or moving the unit.
What minumum temperature is required to use the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
The Ninja™ Fireside 360™ has been tested to operate at 15°F/-9°C. However, operating the unit at this temperature will affect the performance and fuel consumption.
Can I cook on the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
No. Food falling into the pan or on the burners may cause it to not function properly.
Outdoor Usage
Can I use the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ in all weather conditions?
Yes, however, please note that in extreme cold temps, propane tank will be affected. Please make sure to reference the life chart in your instruction booklet or on the sticker located on the inside of the door for ideal performance expectations.
Is the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ safe to use in rain or snow?
Yes. The Ninja™ Fireside 360™ can be safely used in rain or snow. The ceramic rocks may emit a "hissing" sound when wet.
Can I use the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ indoors?
No. The Ninja™ Fireside 360™ is designed for outdoor use only. For safety reasons and risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ should NEVER be operated indoors. It must be operated in an open ventilated area with clearance of 3 feet from all sides and 7.5 feet above the unit.
Why am I experiencing a sudden drop in performance?
Check that your propane tank is not running low on propane for optimal performance. If there is visible frost on the outside of the tank, you may be experiencing "auto refrigeration" which can occur with longer run times. If this occurs, swap for a new propane tank or allow the existing tank to thaw before re-igniting.
Can I move the unit while it is in use?
No. For safety reasons, do NOT move the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ while it is in use. After use and all dials are turned to the OFF position, please allow at least 45 minutes for the unit to cool down before it can be safely handled and moved.
How do I store the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
The Ninja™ Fireside 360™ is designed with weather resistant material so it can be stored both indoors and outdoors. It is recommended to cover the unit to extend the life of the product and to ensure that it isn't stored with a propane tank installed. The Ninja™ Fireside 360™ can be covered with any of 3 compatible covers (sold separately). Ninja™ Fireside 360™ Soft Cover - Lightweight and UV/Water resistant, it covers the entire unit to protect it from the elements. What is the difference between the Flame and Heater functions?

When should I use each of the functions?
Use the Flame function when you want to add to the ambiance and enhance your experience when sitting outside with friends. Use the Heater function when it is colder outside and you need to warm up while enjoying the outdoors.
How close or far should I sit/stand from the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
Your Ninja™ Fireside 360™ must always be operated in an open, well-ventilated area with a minimum clearance of 3 feet on all sides and 7.5 feet above the unit. While the distance you choose to sit or stand from the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ is mostly based on personal comfort and heat settings, please exercise caution when close to the unit. Avoid wearing loose clothing or leaning over the fire pit during operation. Keep all flammable materials—such as furniture, blankets, or decorations—at a safe distance, and always supervise children and pets when the fire pit is in use.

What type of rocks are included with the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
The rocks that are included with your Ninja™ Fireside 360™ are made of heat resistent ceramic. They've been carefully selected for durability and heat resistance.
How many rocks are included?
A total of 30 ceramic rocks in various sizes are included with your Ninja™ Fireside 360™.
How many rocks should use?
Please use all of the included ceramic rocks when setting up your Ninja™ Fireside 360™.
Can I use other types of media?
The ceramic rocks that are included with your Ninja™ Fireside 360™ were carefully selected and tested for durability and heat resistance. It is not recommended to use any other rocks or media as performance and safety cannot be guaranteed.
How to I clean/maintain the rocks?
Sooting or white marks on the rocks are normal and may occur over time with regular use. These cosmetic changes do not affect performance and are not covered under warranty. To extend the life of the rocks, we recommend using a cover when the product is not in use. If desired, replacements can be purchased anytime on our website.
Can I buy more rocks?
Yes. More ceramic rocks can be purchased on NinjaKitchen.com.
Can the media get wet?
Yes. The ceramic rocks can get wet and will continue to function properly. However, you may hear a "hissing" sound when it heats up during use.
Can I use the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ without the rocks?
Yes. You can use the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ without the rocks. While the ceramic rocks are partly aesthetic, they also help to evenly distribute the flame for a stylish and finished look to your fire pit.
Safety and Handling
How hot does the unit get?
Please be aware that there is a hot surface warning located on the back door of the unit. All surfaces above this warning including the burner pan and any components above it will become hot during operation. The Fireside 360 produces the following heat output: Flame (Ambient) Burner: 31,000 BTU/h (9.1 kW) Heater (Radiant) Burner: 49,000 BTU/h (14.4 kW) Safety Guidelines: Maintain a minimum distance of 12 inches from the perimeter and 18 inches from the top of the fire pit while it is in use. Do not touch any hot surfaces to avoid burns. Allow the unit to cool completely for at least 45 minutes before handling, unless using appropriate protective equipment.
How do I move the unit?
If you have not used your Ninja™ Fireside 360™ and it is cool to the touch, you can carry it with the emitter guard to your desired location. If you just finished using the unit it is turned off completely, please allow at least 45 minutes for it to cool down before attempting to move it.
Where can the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ be placed?
The Ninja™ Fireside 360™ can be safely placed on grass, stone or wood. Ensure it is on a level surface. Please make sure that there is enough clearance around the unit (3 feet on all sides, 7.5 feet above)
What is the grate on the top for?
The grate that you see is the emitter guard. This is in place for safety reasons to protect against accidental contact with the emitter. Please note that this is a part that will get hot when the unit is in use and after use. Once cool, this emitter guard can be used to help you move your fire pit. Please make sure to keep any flammable material (eg. furniture, blankets, etc) away from the emitter guard and monitor children or pets at all times when your Ninja™ Fireside 360™ is in use.
How close can I sit to the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
You should sit/stand at least 12 inches away from the unit when in operation. Beyond that, the distance you should sit from the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ is mostly based on preference and the settings. However, if you are close to the unit, please do not wear any loose clothing or lean over the unit during operation. Also, please make sure to keep any flammable material (eg. furniture, blankets, etc) and monitor children or pets at all times when your Ninja™ Fireside 360™ is in use.
How far does the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ need to be placed from walls and ceilings?
For safety reasons, the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ must be placed in an open, ventilated area with at least 3 feet of clearance on all sides and 7.5 feet above the fire pit.
Can I use the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ in my garage?
No. For safety reasons and risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ should NEVER be operated indoors. It must be operated in an open ventilated area with clearance of 3 feet from all sides and 7.5 feet above the unit.
Can I use a tank heater inside the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
For safety reasons, it is not recommended to use a tank heater inside of the Ninja™ Fireside 360™.
Will this scratch or damage the floor/ground?
To help prevent potential damage to surfaces—especially delicate materials like patio pavers—we recommend always carrying your Ninja™ Fireside 360™ when moving it. Dragging the unit can cause scratching or scuffing, particularly when the propane tank is installed, as the added weight increases the risk of surface damage. Lifting and carrying the unit ensures both your fire pit and your outdoor space remain in great condition.
How do I detect a gas leak?
To check for gas leaks, please perform a soapy water test. 1. Combine 1tsp soap with 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. 2. Spray mixture on all gas lines and connection points. 3. If you see expanding large bubbles, then you have a gas leak. 4. If you have a gas leak, shut off gas and call customer service at 1-800-365-0135.
All about Ignition
How do I ignite the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
Before ignition, ensure there is nothing on top of the firepit except for the media rocks and the door is closed. Never ignite with a cover on. Flame Burner Ignition 1. Press the FLAME dial in at the OFF position and turn it counterclockwise to the IGNITE position. 2. Firmly push the dial all the way in at the IGNITE position and hold for 10 seconds to ignite the burner. You will hear a clicking sound as the spark is produced. 3. After 10 seconds, release the dial and turn adjust flame height. 4. After use, ensure dial is turned to the OFF position. Heater Burner Ignition 1. Press the HEATER dial in at the OFF position and turn it counterclockwise to the IGNITE position. 2. Firmly push the dial all the way in at the IGNITE position and hold for 10 seconds to ignite the burner. You will hear a clicking sound as the spark is produced. 3. After 10 seconds, release the dial and turn adjust flame height. 4. After use, ensure dial is turned to the OFF position. If using both modes together, light the flame burner first and then the heater. NOTE: If you are having trouble igniting or keeping flames lit, ensure that you are pushing the dial in completely until it bottoms out in the IGNITE position, and hold for the full 10 seconds.
Where should I stand when igniting the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
When igniting the Ninja™ Fireside 360™, always kneel or sit directly in front of the unit and maintain a safe distance of at least 12" from the sides and 18" over the top. Do not lean over the unit during ignition. Never touch the burner pan or hold the emitter guard, as these components can become hot very quickly. Following these steps helps ensure safe and proper ignition while minimizing the risk of burns or accidents.
Cleaning and Maintainence
How do I clean the burners?
Use a sponge with liquid dish soap and water to remove any dirt or grime. To maintain the life and health of your burner, do not cook food on the fire pit.
How do I clean the exterior?
Use a sponge with liquid dish soap and water to remove any dirt or grime on the exterior. DO NOT use any abrasive metal bruses or steel wool as this will damage the coating and/or stainless steel material. DO NOT disassemble or remove parts for cleaning.
Do I need to cover the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ when not in use?
To maintain and extend the life of your Ninja™ Fireside 360™, it is recommended to keep it covered when stored outside and not in use. Will the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ rust if it is left outside?
While the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ is manufactured with rust resistant material, it is not rust proof. Make sure to always store your fire pit with a cover if stored outdoors and clean it often to reduce the risk of rust.
Does the Ninja™ Fireside 360™ require maintenance?
Yes. To maintain and extend the life of your Fireside 360, it is recommended to inspect and clean your fire pit periodically. Refer to your Owner's Guide for more details on routine maintenance.
How often should I inspect my Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
It is recommended to clean the gas nozzle screen area at least once a year or after an extended period of not using the fire pit.
What should I inspect?

Do I need to replace the ceramic rocks over time?

What is the warranty on the Ninja™ Fireside 360™?
Your Ninja™ Fireside 360™ comes with a 2-year limited warranty. Warranty information is available on our support site here and in the documentation that comes with your unit.
