WC1000 Series Ninja Thirsti™ Drink System Product Function FAQs

The drip tray and drip tray bucket are dishwasher safe. The base, water reservoir, and flavor funnel are NOT dishwasher safe.

To clean place the drip tray parts on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Wipe down the water reservoir, lid, flavor funnel, base of the unit, and flavor carriages with a warm cloth and soap. 

It is recommended to run a Clean Cycle once a month to keep your Splash unit working optimally.

CLEAN CYCLE DIRECTIONS

It is recommended to run a Clean Cycle once a month for optimal drink making. The clean cycle will take 15 minutes.

1. Create a cleaning solution by combining 12oz. of water and 12oz of white vinegar in the water reservoir.
2. Place the water reservoir with the cleaning solution on the docking station.
3. Place a large (24oz) vessel on the drip tray.
4. Start the clean cycle by holding down the sparkling and size buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
5. Once the Clean cycle is complete, empty any leftover cleaning solution and rinse the water reservoir.
6. Fill the water reservoir with 24oz of fresh water and repeat the clean cycle to flush the vinegar from the unit.

The sparkling button will change from white to orange when the CO2 cylinder has approximately 25, 12oz drinks remaining. The sparkling button will remain orange until the CO2 cylinder is replaced and the indicator is reset. To reset the indicator, replace the CO2 cylinder and then hold the sparkling button until it turns white.

Remove the tamper seal and black cap from CO2. Start by opening the CO2 door at the back of the unit. Swing the CO2 cover out of the unit and remove the tamper seal and black cap from the CO2 canister. Insert the CO2 canister into the CO2 cover then apply gentle pressure to turn the canister to the right until tight.

The sparkling button will change from white to orange when the CO2 cylinder has approximately 20, 12oz drinks remaining. The sparkling button will remain orange until the CO2 cylinder is replaced and the indicator is reset. To reset the indicator, replace the CO2 cylinder and then hold the sparkling button until it turns white. ONLY reset the indicator once a new CO2 canister has been installed.

The Thirsti™ Drink System works with our Thirsti™ CO2 cannisters. Use the QR code on the CO2 door and on the Owner Manual to go to the Ninja Thirsti™ website from where you can reorder additional CO2 canisters.

Yes. It is safe to have CO2 cylinders in your home. They should be stored in an area less than 125F and never stored in a vehicle. 

Other company's CO2 cylinders are not compatible with your unit to work properly. To ensure proper product performance we recommend Ninja Thirsti™ CO2. This is due to a difference in threading that is compatible with your Ninja Thirsti™.  

We want you to enjoy fresh, fizzy drinks without interruption! We recommend keeping three CO2 canisters handy so that when one CO2 canister runs out, you simply swap the used canisters for full ones with the CO2 Refill Program. 

The CO2 does not expire but canisters do need to be checked for quality assurance purposes. Please check the date on the bototm of each canister to ensure it is not past this quality assurance timeframe. 

Elevation change will have no pressure effect on a CO2 canister. Most airlines and airport security prohibit the carrying of CO2 Canisters into a place. 

With the CO2 Refill Club membership, you will save 30% on refills when sending back your used canisters. If you wish to opt into the CO2 Refill Exchange Program, simply order a Refill Exchange box to get your return process started.

Each Thirsti™ 60L CO2 Canister makes 50-100 12oz drinks, depending on the Sparkling level being used.

It is recommended to order more CO2 before or as soon as your Sparkling button blinks Orange indicating there is 25% CO2 remaining. 

Each 60L CO2 canister will make approximately 100, 12oz carbonated drinks. When the Sparkling button blinks orange there is only 25% CO2 left in the canister. This will make approximately 25, 12oz drinks. We recommend joining our refill club to never run out of bubbles.

Ninja Thirsti™ CO2 is made from renewable biomass generating food grade CO2.

The cylinders themselves are made from aluminum and meet DOT specifications. CO2 is exclusively from a 100% renewable source right here in the US. Filled in Seymour Wisconson 

We highly recommend only using the Thirsti™ CO2 canister with the Ninja Thirsti™ Drink System 

The Ninja Thirsti™ return/exchange box contains all legal markings that are required to ship CO2. 

We encourage all empty CO2 canisters to be returned via the Refill Club however we understand this may not always be the best option. CO2 canisters can be recycled at most recycling centers as scrap metal. This does require your CO2 canister to be completely empty. 

Each refill cylinder is re-sealed for quality assurance. 

Always ensure your Ninja Thirsti™ CO2 canister is tightly installed. CO2 canisters from other brands may lead to leakage and fast loss of CO2. If a CO2 canister is not tightly twisted in place CO2 leakage may also occur. This will cause the CO2 canister to run out of CO2 quickly. 

When the Sparkling button lights up Orange this is an indication that your CO2 is starting to run low and it's recommended to join the Thirsti™ CO2 Refill Club or order new Thirsti™ CO2 Canisters. 

Once you install a new CO2 canister hold down the Sparkling button until it turns back to it's original white LED. You have now reset the CO2 Low indicator. 

Unfortunately, you cannot return your used Flavor Drops but you can order different flavors by using the QR code on the unit or on the Quick Start Guide to go to the website from where you can reorder additional Flavor Drops.

No, Flavor Drops should be stored at room temperature, right-side up with the cap securely in place.

The caffeine level will depend on what flavor level is chosen. Fruiti Chill+Caffeine Flavors have 50 mg of caffeine per 12 oz classic drink.

The Ninja Thirsti™ does not include combo dispensing for a 6oz size. Please choose a larger dispensing size to be able to do combo flavors. 

You can place your Ninja Thirsti™ where is most convenient for you, we recommend keeping it away from direct sunlight. 

We recommend using only Ninja-branded Flavor Drops in your Thirsti™ unit. 

Flavor Water Drops Bottles hold enough flavor for 17-20, 12 oz classic drink servings. Seltzer Flavored Water Drops have ~20, 12 oz classic drink servings. Fruiti Chill, Fruiti Chill+Caffeine, and Zero Soda Flavored Water Drops have ~17, 12 oz classic drink servings. 

Once opened Flavored Water Drops have a 30-day shelf life. Always check the bottom of your Flavored Water Drops for an unopened expiration date. 

• Seltzer Flavored Water Drops do not use any sweeteners.
• Fruiti Chill Flavored Water Drops use sucralose as a sweetener.
• Zero Soda Flavored Water Drops use the sweeteners sucralose and acesulfame-potassium. 

All Flavored Water Drops have colors from natural sources of fruit & vegetables, no artificial coloring is used.

Once opened Thirsti™ flavor drops are good for 30 days. We recommend storing at room temperature.

No, our Thirsti™ water flavor drops are not Halal.

Once opened Flavored Water Drops have an expiration of 30 days. 

The flavor drop should be stored in a cool, dark place with the lid closed. We don't recommend putting them in the fridge or storing them near any heating appliances (microwave, oven, etc.)

Ninja Thirsti Flavored Water Drops are available in more than 25+ flavors across 4 different flavor lines. The 4 flavor lines offered are: Seltzer, Fruiti Chill, Fruiti Chill+Caffeine, and Zero Sodas. You can view these lines HERE.

All Ninja Thirsti Flavored Water Drops are zero sugar and zero calories per 12 oz serving. Sweetened varieties contain sucralose or sucralose and acesulfame-potassium. Some flavored water drops use veggie and fruit juice as coloring agent, which contribute minute amount of sugars.

Our Thirsti™ Drops do not contain nuts, however, the production facility is not nut-free. Our products do not contain nuts but Peach Mango and Sweet Mango contain Mango which is a known allergen for some people.

Please consult your physician regarding any dietary or health restrictions. 

At this time the Ninja Thirsti™ flavor drops are not recyclable.

ALWAYS dilute Ninja Thirsti™ Flavored Water drops. This is a concentrated substance that should never be consumed without diluting through the Thirsti™ system. 

Our Energy flavors contain caffeine. Current Energy flavors are our Peach Mango and Wild Berry. 

Fruiti Chill Strawberry Kiwi, Watermelon Lime, and Tropical Pineapple all contain electrolytes. 

Seltzer Flavored Water Drops do not use any sweeteners.

Yes. Thirsti Flavored Water Drops work great in still or sparkling water. For best results we recommend using sparkling water for Seltzer and Zero Soda flavors.

Yes. Combo two flavors at once for a personalized flavored drink. Recipes can be found in the Quick Start Guide and at ninjakitchen.com/thirsti-recipes. Please note: the 6 oz dispense option does not allow for combo.

While taste is subjective, we can direct you to recommended flavor combinations and recipes in your Quick Start Guide. We recommend using ice in your Thirsti Water Reservoir to get the coldest drink experience with maximum carbonation for the Zero Soda and Seltzer Flavors.

Ninja Thirsti™ Flavored Water Drops are manufactured in the US. 

Always reference the back of the Flavored Water Drops bottled for flavor-specific ingredients. An ingredient list can also be found at Ninjakitchen.com.

All flavor ingredients used are compliant to the regulation of FDA and sourced from FDA registered and inspected facilities that ensure food safety compliance. Specific ingredients are confidential for purposes of Intellectual Property protection.

If shaken and only a tiny bit of liquid is heard then your flavor drop is out of flavor.

If no difference is noticed between fizz levels: 

1. Check your CO2 canister and ensure there is CO2 remaining.
2. Always make sure you are carbonating with ice-cold water.  

Yes, Ninja Thirsti Flavored Water Drops are FDA compliant.

Ninja Thirsti Flavored Water Drops do not contain any FDA-regulated allergens.

As there are natural flavors used, please check the ingredients label to confirm.

The variety sampler pack comes with 8 flavor pods and will include at least 1 flavor from each line.

Not all Zero Soda Flavored Water Drops contain caffeine. Cola and Dr. Thirsti contain 35 mg for a 12 oz classic drink. Orange Soda and Lemon-Lime Zero Sodas do not contain caffeine. Mt. Thirsti contains 50 mg for a 12 oz classic drink. Flavors have the same level of caffeine as a standard can of similar soda. 

Fruiti Chill and Fruiti Chill+ have colors derived from natural fruit & vegetable sources, and no artificial coloring is used. Seltzers have no coloring. Zero Soda uses artificial coloring.

Our Fruiti Chill+Caffeine flavors and some Zero Soda Flavored Water Drops contain caffeine.

The Thirsti flavor pods are empty if shaken and only a tiny bit of liquid is heard. A few drops of flavor will remain in the bottle. 

If you previously ordered/drank Splash, it is now Seltzer.

If you previously ordered/drank Hydrate and Vitamins, these were combined and are now Fruiti Chill.

If you previously ordered/drank Energy, it is now Fruiti Chill + Caffeine.

We're giving our pods a refresh with a new look but the same great taste. Our new flavor-forward design is rolling into market and will replace the previous packaging. Some of the flavors have been refined slightly.

We recommend these settings for the perfect Thirsti pour:

• Zero Soda Flavors: Classic Flavor Strength Classic & High Fizz Level.
• Fruiti Chill Flavors (Sparkling): Classic Flavor Strength & Medium Fizz Level.
• Fruiti Chill Flavors (Still): Bold Flavor Strength & Still Fizz Level.
• Seltzer Flavors: Bold Flavor Strength & High Fizz Level.
• Iced Tea Flavors: Classic Flavor Strength & Still Fizz Level.

We use sulfites in some of our Thirsti flavor pods to help maintain the quality of our drinks. The sulfites used in our pods are food-safe compounds commonly used as preservatives in beverages. The FDA requires beverages with more than 10 ppm to call out sulfites on their label, as some individuals have a sensitivity. Our flavor pods are concentrated formulas and some (as labeled) may have more than 10 ppm sulfites before they are diluted in your machine to make your beverage. However, we are confident that our flavors – when used to make a finished, diluted drink following our machine instructions – contain sulfite levels below 10 ppm FDA labeling threshold. 

It is recommended to use a larger glass than the oz size selected, especially when adding ice. We recommend using a juice glass when making a 6oz drink, a pint glass when making a 12oz drink, a mixing glass when making an 18oz drink and a large tumbler when making a 24oz drink

No. We do not recommend putting carbonated water in the Thirsti Drink System. Only carbonate fresh still water. 

No. We do not recommend carbonating any type of drink besides still water.

1. Start by removing the safety seal around the cap.
2. Then, flip the cap into the open position. The cap will click into place on the back side of the bottle.
3. Lower the Flavor Carriage and flip the Flavored Water Drops so the nozzle is down and gently inserted into the Flavor Carriage. You will hear an audible click indicating proper installation.
4. Repeat this process for a second flavor drop if desired then raise the Flavor Carriage to close.

To make a combo drink, start by choosing the two flavors you would like to mix and place them both in the Flavor carriage. Using the 1 and 2 buttons, choose your desired flavor strength for the given flavor. Next, choose your size and carbonation level, then press start. Please note that you cannot make a combo, 6oz drink.

Hold the Sparkling + Flavor 1 button to enter ultra-low sparkling mode.

If you want to exit the ultra-low sparkling mode, you can do so by holding down the Sparkling + Flavor 2 button, unplugging and then plugging back in the unit, or by making a drink on medium or high sparkling.

The last run dispense was not able to complete and water must be drained from the system. Place a cup under the nozzle and press "Drain" to allow the water to clear. The unit must run a Drain Dispense before another drink can be made. It may take up to 30 seconds

Your Thirsti™ device will automatically shut off if it remains unused for 10 minutes. To reactivate the unit, simply press any button.

WC1001 has 3 choices of fizz levels, while WC1000 has 2 choices of fizz levels.

When using the Ninja Thirsti™ Drink system to carbonate, an audible noise will be produced as the CO2 and water mix.

No, we do not recommend that the water reservoir be put in the freezer.

The water charger is made of SAN, and the water reservoir lid is made of PET.

Yes. The water reservoirs are BPA-free.

To properly clean the water reservoirs, start by removing the lid and placing both pieces on the top shelf of your dishwasher. Alternatively, you may choose to hand wash them using soap and warm water. It is important to note that there is a removable filter located at the bottom of the reservoir which can be easily pulled off and cleaned. Once cleaned, simply replace the filter and resume using the unit as normal.

There is a temperature indicator on the water reservoir that turns blue when the water has reached an optimal temperature for carbonation. For best results, water should be cooled to 45F or below.

Cold water forms stronger carbonated bubbles. The colder the water the better the bubbles the fizzier the drink!
